MATTHEW 11:28-30

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Have you ever gone to bed for 7, 8, or even 12 hours, only to wake up feeling tired? Have you taken an entire weekend to rest and relax, yet still felt completely exhausted when Monday morning came?

Lately, I've been experiencing a period where I just don’t feel rested. No matter what techniques or disciplines I try to implement, weariness continues to overwhelm me daily. I often feel like giving up. I recognize that this isn’t just a physical issue or something that can be solved by simply going to bed earlier.

What I'm dealing with—perhaps you are too—seems to be spiritual and emotional exhaustion. This type of fatigue cannot be remedied with quick tips and tricks; it reflects a deeper, soul-level weariness. So, what is the solution? Lean into Jesus. Take a deep breath and focus on Him. Invite Him into your weariness and ask for His help in finding true rest. Instead of searching for a quick fix to escape this constant exhaustion, embrace a rest that begins to grow within your soul.

P.S.

You should aim for more sleep. You should exercise. You should eat healthily. Taking care of your physical well-being will support your spiritual health.
