2 CORINTHIANS 12:9-10
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
There is a part of me that truly believes I can accomplish anything and overcome any obstacle in my way. This aspect of my personality drives me to lead, set ambitious goals, and stay focused. I constantly seek out and accept challenging opportunities that come my way.
However, during my spiritual journey, I have come to realize that I am not as strong as I once thought. Time and again, I confront my broken and sinful nature that tells me, "You are not that good. You are not that strong. You are not that... spiritual."
In those moments, Jesus whispers to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
Today, embrace these words from Paul—words that Jesus shared with him.
Today, accept Jesus' power that shines through in your weakness.
Today, receive His grace that surrounds you and strengthens you.

Pause and pray. Pray over the Scripture and listen to what God is saying to you. Celebrate God's presence and hand your requests over to Him.
